What this is about

We sell to SaaS companies that ship software faster than they can document it. To give the right answers there, we need to know the market precisely: competitors, pricing, search behaviour and the language of our audience.

You build that knowledge base and turn it into concrete recommendations. Your findings feed straight into product decisions, content and the sales argument.

What you will do

  • Track and document competitors, pricing models and positioning systematically
  • Research the search queries and topics our audience actually cares about
  • Prepare, run and analyse interviews and surveys with users and prospects
  • Bring numbers from web analytics, CRM and campaigns into one understandable picture
  • Present findings briefly and clearly, so decisions can follow from them

What you bring

  • You study business, economics, marketing, communication or social sciences, or something comparable
  • You research thoroughly and notice when a source does not hold up
  • Spreadsheets do not scare you, and you explain numbers so others understand them
  • Very good German and good English, because our market demands both
  • Around 16 hours per week, fewer during exam season

What we offer

  • A topic with direct impact: your findings change the product and the positioning
  • Close work with the founder instead of supporting a department
  • Insight into a B2B SaaS company from first research to closed deal
  • Access to the tools you need for clean research
  • Hybrid work between Stuttgart, Heilbronn and home
  • Flexible hours around lectures and exams

How the process works

  1. 01A short email with your CV and anything that shows what you can do.
  2. 02An intro call over video, about 30 minutes.
  3. 03A small work sample of about one hour, or a conversation about a project you have already built.
  4. 04A decision within one week of the last conversation.
